After a long day out in the bush, come back to a place built for pure rest. Enjoy hot showers, big comfortable beds, and a cold drink by the campfire right under the stars.
The Wild
Unscripted and unconfined
Giza
Encounters with melanistic leopards are vanishingly rare. Giza is one of the few black leopards in Kenya with a scientifically documented and verified territory, roaming the rocky outcrops and river valleys of the Ewaso Enclave undisturbed.
Elephant Trails
Natural seasonal corridors cross through the conservancy as herds move between feeding grounds and the river. Guests walk designated elephant paths on foot accompanied by an armed ranger, scheduled during midday rest hours and maintaining a minimum 100-meter distance so herds remain undisturbed.
African Wild Dogs
The conservancy provides an essential sanctuary for a resident, monitored pack of African wild dogs. Ongoing protection ensures this critically endangered predator continues to hunt and den safely in Laikipia.

A balanced daily rhythm calibrated to wildlife movements and the Laikipia sun—blending active early-morning exploration, restorative midday rest, and quiet evening wilderness dining.
Dawn Game Drive & Sunrise Coffee
Rise with the bush as predators conclude their night patrols. Stop atop a scenic ridge overlooking Mount Kenya for hot Kenyan coffee, freshly baked pastries, and pristine morning light.
Camp Brunch, Shaded Rest & Midday Siesta
Return to camp for a relaxed, chef-prepared brunch. While the savannah rests through the heat of the day, unwind on your private veranda, take a dip in the pool, or read in the shaded lounge.
Guided Bush Walk with Dalmas & Ranger
As the afternoon cools, swap vehicles for foot exploration. Led by our certified naturalist and accompanied by an armed ranger, learn to read spoor, identify bird calls, and walk elephant trails at a respectful distance.
Bush Dinner Under the Stars
Arrive at a secluded clearing along the riverbanks. Enjoy a multi-course dinner beside a crackling acacia campfire beneath an unpolluted canopy of equatorial stars.
Safety & Field Protocol: All bush walks are led by certified naturalist guides and accompanied by trained armed rangers, keeping safe distances and never disturbing herds.
